[Product Review] Ulzzang Makeup ^_~ Get Different Looks For Different Occasion x Etude House Color Lip Fit

Hi everyone! How's everyone doing? Hope you all are doing great! =D

Gosh... the weather lately is really killing me... @_@ it is so hot and humid to the extend that just sitting down without moving an inch can also makes me sweat as though I just finish a workout. Makes me feels like hiding into an air-con environment 24/7 XD I bet you guys must be feeling the same. =P

Lately I have been busy with jobs and attending events of all sort.. meeting new different people for personal and business collaborations and one of the questions I often get asked is: "Do you plan your makeup look according to the occasion that you are going just like how you would plan what to wear for what occasion.?" and " Where do you usually get your inspiration from as a makeup artist?"

Well, for the latter, I can basically say that I get inspiration from anywhere and everywhere. Besides looking at the latest copy of fashion books and magazines and knowing what's the latest trend this season, Movies and dramas and even buildings and nice interior or architectures can also be my source of inspiration as a makeup artist.

As for  "Do you plan your makeup look according to the occasion that you are going just like how you would plan what to wear for what occasion.?" Well the answer is of course a definite yes! =) as I personally believe that it is equally important as to what I will be wearing for that particular occasion and the fact that fashion and beauty are always together as a whole package. Although I do get the fact that changing makeup looks from one to another for different occasion can be quite a hassle sometimes. Thus, I would say that the quickest and easiest way to change your makeup look would be lipstick! =D Don't you ladies agree? And recently I just discovered a lip product that can give you long lasting and vivid colours for any looks that you want to create! =D

Etude House Color Lips-Fit Lip Tint.

Comes in a total of 6 different shades though I only bought the 3 colours that I like and deem it more suitable for most occasions, This new range of lip tint promise to give even more vivid colours and longer lasting effect! =D No more lips stains on cups and glasses! XD

The new packaging also looks more nicer and seems to have more quantity too. =P

These are the 3 colours that I bought. ^_^

Starting from left: #PK003(The most popular colour, also known as Suili Pink as she was seen wearing it on the ad in all the Etude house stores. There was even a period where most of the stores were out of stock for this colour! ) #BE101 and #RD301

First Look: Cute Girlish #PK003 ( Suitable for romantic dates or daily wear )
A lovely pink shade that can be worn by just dabbing on with fingers to create a soft, glossy ombre lips effect for that lovely romantic date with that special someone. ^^

Paired it with simple eye makeup and you are good to go! ;)

Or simply wear it matte for that vivid look and to brighten up your complexion. =D

Second Look: Sweet Natural #BE101 (Suitable for daily/weekend wear or wear to work)

A soft, natural nude shade suitable for wearing it to work daily if you just want to look natural and well groomed for that important meeting with your client or your boss. ;)

Add on full transparent gloss for that casual weekend fun with your BFFs! =D

Third Look: Sexy Glamorous RD#301 (Suitable for romantic date/red carpet functions/events)

A bright vivid red colour suitable for that important function or dinner. Matte is recommended if you want to go for that classic, timeless look. =) Paired with simple black eyeliner and a LBD (Little Black Dress) and you are ready to rock the night! ;D

Overall, I would say that I absolutely love this new range of lip tint very much. =) I have been wearing it since I bought it for work and different occasions and I never have to worry about touching up at all. However, here's some tips and advice for you girls out there who love lip tint as much as I do. ;)

1) For that even more long staying power effect or if you are simply afraid of matte texture on your lips, dab on a sheer layer of lip balm before you apply the tint.

2) Always remember to remove your lip makeup thoroughly even though you might see not much colour on your lips at the end of the day. As the saying always goes: Never ever sleep with your makeup on! ;)

3) As tints are colours pigmented, in the long run if you were to apply everyday, it will eventually darken your lips (Linking to number 2 which is why its important to remove thoroughly at the end of the day! >/////<) exfoliate your lips at least once a week to get rid of any dead skin cells or remaining colours residue and to maintain soft, kissable lips. XD)

Hope you all enjoy today little sharing! ^0~

[Product Review & Makeup Tutorial] Achieve Holiday Party Look x Innisfree Natural Benefit From Jeju Island

A big hello to everyone!! =D how is everyone holiday coming along so far? ;)

Big big apologies to everyone as I have not log in and blog for months.. >///< was really super super
Super duper busy with work. And now finally have the chance to have a little R&R. ^_^ and can
Finally spend some quiet time for Xmas. Yay!! Xmas is finally here! It is always my favourite time
Of the year with lots of gathering with friends and family, presents exchange and of course the
Weather.. Omg.. it has been so cooling and cosy these past few weeks that I would literally drag
Myself out of bed to go to work in the morning... =__= zzz  (Dozing off.....)

Ok. Anyway.. (fully awake now. XD) I'm sure that during this time of the year, all of you will have Many parties and gathering to attend am I right? ;) and for ladies out there, I guess the most vexing Part besides thinking of what to wear, it would be what makeup look to put on. You want to look Glamorous but not too overdone and still look natural. So today I will be teaching a real simple Makeup look that you can wear easily for any parties during this holiday season.

Products used today will be from Innisfree. Yes! you heard me. Korea number 1 natural cosmetic
And skincare brand with natural energy from Jeju island is finally here in Singapore!!! =D
Launched in November this year with their first outlet store right in the heart of Orchard.
Ambassador will of course none other than Korea actor Lee Min Ho. (Love his acting and dramas..
   ^^)

These are the products that I bought. Damage done: $100++ (can't remember the exact amount..
   >///<)

    Ok. Let's get started!

1st. Prep your skin with primer. (Remember, this should be done after your sunscreen. ^o~)

2nd. Spread foundation evenly all over your face. ( You can either use your fingers or sponge to
Blend. I personally prefer to use a brush.) After this, do all your necessary concealing.

3rd. Set the foundation with loose powder. I am so in love with this no-sebum mineral powder
Infused with natural originated mint that has a tint slight cooling feel when you apply it and the
Finishing is a smooth and matte finish. Focus more on T-zone and side of the nose where its
Always the part that is most oily.

And the base makeup is done! =)

After drawing in your eyebrows, we shall move in straight to the eyes. These are the eye products
  That we will be using.

  Mineral Eyeshadow in n.o 23, 08 and 09.

4th. Apply the light shade (23) on the entire eyelid area as a base.

5th. Apply shade (08) on the crease area as close to the lashline as possible. For single eyelids like
Me can draw till up to about 5mm height.

6th, Using shade (09), gently apply at the inner corner as if you are blocking the eye area.

7th. Again using shade (09) apply at the outer corner of the eye area this time and gently blend
Inwards. Don't forget the under eye area too! ^^

8th. For a little touch of glamour =P and to accentuate and brighten up the eye makeup, I added a
Bit of gold shimmer eyeshadow on the centre of the eyelid.

9th. Using the waterproof gel eyeliner pencil, gently draw and fill in the gap between the lashes at
    Your upper waterline.

10th. To enhance the eye makeup and to create a more defined and sexy cat eye look. =P winged
Out your upper eyeliner and draw in the lower waterline. (To create a slightly more softer look,
When drawing the upper eyeliner, follow the natural shape of your eyes instead of creating a
   Upwards flick.)

11th. Add in false lashes or a mascara (depending on personal preference. I personally prefer to use
False lashes to make my eyes slightly more bigger. XD)

And there you have it! A simple evening look that's great for any parties or gathering this holiday
   Season.

I am totally loving Innisfree range of cosmetics. Not only are they affordable, they all contains
Mineral and organic ingredients all the way from Jeju island that's great and less harmful on the
Skin. I have not tried their skincare products yet though but I figured its time to change my skincare
Range again. XD ( I have been trying to find a effective whitening day moisturiser but not sure
Which brand is good. >///< recommendations anyone??)

Hope you all enjoyed today little tutorial.

  Happy Holidays everyone!! ^o~
