[ Makeup Tutorial ] Oz The Great & Powerful Glinda The Good Witch ♥ Urban Decay Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palette

Welcome to the land of magical and enchanted! XD

Frankly speaking, I have not watch this movie yet. xP due to lack of time and companions.
(I don't really like the idea of watching movie alone) Well, I guess I shall have to wait for the
   DVD to launch then.
Though I have not watch the movie yet, but some of the main characters do somehow captured
my attention. And one of them will be Glinda The Good Witch starring Michelle Williams.
Glinda The Good Witch is the most powerful sorceress Of Oz, ruler of Quadling country,
South Of the Emerald City and protector of Princess Ozma. Which is the version in the
Original flim. (Not sure if the new version changes anything but I do love the glow and
Radiance on her skin in this picture!)
Love her short pixie haircut! =D

Anyway, today is my first makeup tutorial ^_^ ( Do forgive me if it's not done properly.)
Putting the movie aside, today main focus is of course makeup. And with that I'm going to
use the palette (prized possession) that I've got. (Was actually a gift from friend ^^)
Urban Decay The Great Oz Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palette. Love the packaging.. such
   dreamy color! ^_^

Even the names of all the colors are so magical! =D
Besides eyeshadows, the palette also includes a purple eyeliner (their best seller) and a lipgloss.
The whole pacakaging inside with a postcard of Michelle Williams posing as Glinda. Would be
great if it comes along with her signature on it! XD
The back of the postcard is a color face chart that teaches you how to use the colors and get the
    "Glinda" look. ^_^
The actual color of the lipgloss. The texture is more like a glossy & moisturising lipstick.
Such gorgeous and pretty colors aren't they!!??? =D

One of their best seller Glide on eyeliner in Rockstar.

Step 1: Prep the eye area with a eye primer. Personally I love the eye primer from MaryKay. Its
easy to apply and it also helps your eyeshadow to stay on longer and better by bringing out the
intensity of the colors and also prevents from smudging.

Dab the eye primer on the whole eye area.

Step 2: Take the color Aura (violet iridescent) and apply along the browbone.

Step 3: Take the color Illusion and apply onto the eye socket area, blending up into the crease.

Step 4: Take the color South and apply onto the upper lid and blend it well.

Step 5: Take Aura (Rose Iridescent) and trace along the inner corners and outer 1/3 of lower
the lower lashline. (Use a smaller brush for this step)
Step 6: Line the eyes with the Glide-on eye pencil In Rockstar.
Step 7: Take the color Tornado and apply onto the upper lids and lower lashline on top of the
    eyeliner and smudge it in.
Step 8: Take the color Magic and smudge along the lower lashline, fusing it with the Tornado and
    Aura.

Step 9: Curl your lashes and apply mascara or fake lashes (Up to personal preferences). For
mascara I'm currently using this volumizing mascara from 1028 台塆小凯老师 brand. It really
helps define and seperate your lashes and gives the volumizing and curl effect. I'm gonna get the
lengthening one and will review in another article. ^_^
    Viola! The completed look! Phew!
Its really not that hard at all actually once you know your eyes shape well and what sort of colors
suits you. This is just one of the look that you can create with this palette. If you ever have this
palette, do play around with the colors. Afterall, makeup is all about having fun. Right? ;)

Hope you all enjoyed today's little tutorial. ^^

    Have a great weekend!

More photos and close up view of the colors in the palette. Couldn't resist taking more pics of it.
